[18 May 2009|09:11pm] [ music | the sweet sound of the food network ] Busy busy week! Today- woke up and thought my car was stolen.  Chris calls me saying "we parked the car in the northeastern parking lot last night right?" and I was like "um... yeah.. why?"... "well it's not here and the guy at the gate said they don't towe the cars... so I think it might be stolen." Chris then went to the Boston police station and they said that it was towed.  He had to go get it out and pay $120. And he was late for work. Poor chris :( . But atleast it's not stolen! That would have been WAYYYYY worse. Anywho.. after that woke me up (at 7:30am) I decided to finish my homework.  I was suprized I got it all done.  I love getting all my homework done.  I feel so accomplished. haha.  I went to my Illustration class at 12:30. we experimented with out ink pens and xactos on scratchboard.  It was fun.  I like that class. I then bought a $104 book for my Media Literacy class. UGH.  The class was wicked easy.  I was dreading it.  But it wasn't bad.  We got into groups today, it's the groups we'll be in all semester.  I picked the advertising group.  The people seem pretty cool... normal. After class I walked to Stop and Plop and got bananas (I'm upsessed with bananas lately!!!!! I LOVE THEM) and kitty food. Then walked home. made a bomb turkey sandwich, played with scratchboard more... well chris played with it.. he drew a swastika and those stupid S's with the lines all over it hahah... just had to ruin it. I checked my bank account before going tanning and I'm negative 52 dollars because my check still is pending. UGH. Tomorrow I get my money from my loan hopefully! Tomorrow- Color theory 9-1230 Concept Development 1230- 320 Then hopefully Chelsea is coming up! woo! [15 May 2009|08:40am] I have so much homework! alot of it is drawing though.  Which isn't too bad.  This is hopefully going to be an easy semester.  It's going to be alot of work though. I went to the art store yesterday to buy some supplies. I got.... 3 pieces of illustration board, black scratch board, 4 pens, 6 or 7 paint brushes, lime green artists tape, tracing paper, mars black and mixing white paint, mixing well, new drawing pencils, a new exacto with some blades, and I can't even remember what else.  It all came out to $80. !!! I was like whaaaaaaaaat.  I had 83 in my account when I went there now I have like 2 dollars.  Hopefully I'll be getting my money form my loan and whatnot monday. after spending all my money in my account I went to the tanning place and got a membership HA. I suck. But it's okay.  I am so pale.  I'm just going to tan untill I get some good color then I"m going to cancle the member ship.  Or freeze it. I woke up really early today because Chris was getting ready for work. I'm glad though because I need to get alot of stuff done. -go tanning -goto my school and buy 2 books -come home and read -try to finish all my homework -pack some clothes to bring home to do laundry -drive to cumberland so amanda can giv eme a hair cut ! woo! [11 May 2009|12:02pm] [ music | buzzing of computers, clicking of mouses. ] random things... -work is bullshit.  Some girl that has only been there for 2 months (i've been there for almost 6) got a 1.50 raise for no reason.. i think shes fucking my manager. definatly.  But oh well.  I'm not going to complain.  I make 12 bucks to just stand there and seat people.  It's not work making a scene over 1.50 more haaa. -Racheal and I are buddies witht he gay bartender (mike) at Charlies on Newbury st.  I accidentaly told him I was 19 last night.  I'm a dumbass.  But I don't think he cares.  He loves us.  They have amazing sangria. -I got my car re-registered today.  The people at AAA are idiots.  It cost me 61 to get it registered (well chis paid 50) and another 28 to pay my membership bill.  bullllllllll. - I'm at my school right now. In the library.  I like this library.  - I start classes in 24 mintues.  My illustration class.  yay!  I'm not in the drawing mood though. - I'm registered for 5 classes.  I was soposed to only take 4 classes on mondays and tuesdays but Imust hace accidentaly sliped in a wednesday class too... makign it 5 classes... oh well.  I'll goto the class thsi wednesday and if it's lame I'll jsut drop it.  I'm most likely drop it because I willmost likely find it to be lame.  ahah. - IT'S SO NICE OUT YAY okay, I'm going put on my big sunglasses and walk to the other building on campus for my class. -oh! Scum reunion? [09 May 2009|12:31am] Today I woke up so early.  8:00 Che-love and Sandy picked me up around 9:30, we went to her house for a few minutes.  I called my grammy to see if she wanted to goto Kays for lunch but she didn't answer :(.  Then my school called me and told me my loan was all screwed up so I called the loan people and the girl on the phone was so nice, we like chit-chatted about the weather and what we're going to do on the weekend... I like randomly nice people... even though she was probably just kissing my ass so I would giv eher a good rating on the survey that went down after our conversation. ( I didn't take the survey.. i hung up) Then we went to the mall.  bad decision.  I spent so much money.  I returned a shirt at american eagle and got a dress.  I ended up paying 2 dollars for the dress after the price of the shirt was knocked off and an extra 20% off for it being a sale item. sweet deal.  I then got a new bra from victorias secret.  It's a black strapless. I needed at least one new bra SO bad.  Then we went to forever 21.  I got a sweter which I love but am still wondering wether I'll ever wear it.  And a pair of jeans.  They're cute.  OH and a paif of earings! After Juicy picked us up from chelseas and we began our journey to New Beige (bedford).  Juicy hasn't friggin changed.  Well shes wicked skinny now and has definatly toned down.. like before she was obnoxiously boy crazy haha but now she has a grip on it cause shes with mike and stuff which is good.  We picked Danikinz up at Mishman's work.  There was a Newport Creamery in the parking lot so we hit that shit up.  I got a sundea with coffee ice cream and hot fudge.  SO GOOD.  it hit the spot.  We then drove back to cumby.  then to coffee conection where the piggy back ride arguement broke loose.  Seriously daniz is psycho. haha.  We then went to Tartah's.  She go new furniture.  Her room looks awesome.  It's like a hot coral pink with off-white furniture.  Bmars came over and I cooked a chicken dinner.  Grilled teriyaki chicken and fried chicken with mashed potatoes.  It came out pretty good.  We then left so Bmars could get a swetshirt.  The 6 of us pile din a car and acted lik complete idiots yelling out the windows like always.  when we got to Bmar's she tookt he keys out of the ignition and went into her house then ran back out and realized her car was still on.  The keys were in her had and the car was on by itself with no key.  It was WEIRD.  We drove it anyways. We went to Cheloves and then abck to tartahs. We watched old videos of us and drunken ones of danielle. SO FUNNY.  omg there was an old video and it's me and chris at my house and i just thought it was so cute.  He's such a cutie.  It made me smile.  we looked so young and so happy. [05 May 2009|12:28pm] Okay so I'm going to attempt to type.. even though for some reason I can't type on this computer.. my fingers keep spazing out and spelling everything wrong.  I'm having a convo on facebook with chelsea and I think I've spelt everything wrong in it hahah.  Typical me. Anywhoo I'm in the library at NEiA.  There is no one here because classes don't start till the 11th.  Why am I here?  Well I had a hold on my account and I had to walk 2 miles to school today in the rain just so I can sign a paper to get the hold off my account.  It was good exercise though.  I got to check out my grades finally... not good. Digital Imaging.............................B Digital Illustration.........................B Patterns in Math...........................B Humanities through the Arts.....D (UGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!) Advanced Drawing......................B+ a D... a fucking D.  Nothing gets my more mad.  I hate getting anything below a B now that I'm in college.  When I was in highschool all I cared about was passing hah.  I was souped to even get C's. But seriously.. when I work so hard all semester then end up with a D it really gets under my skin. But oh well.. what am I going to do about it.  I'll just have to try harder this summer semester I just changed my summer schedule around.  I now have classes Monday and Tuesdays instead of Mondays and Wednesdays.  And I had way better classes and better professors. [11 Apr 2009|11:55am] [ music | food network ] Okay so some guys are such girls.....?... but yeah. seriously.  (that was from two nights ago) Anywho! I finally picked out my classes ! I decided to squeeze them into two days so I can have free time to goto the beach and stuff :) Mondays - This is my worst day 9:00-11:30 Physical Science in Visual Technology            Um EW.  This class is just a place holder untill something better opens.             I want to take a science or math.. Geometry or Physics? I did good in those in Highschool 12:30-3:30 Illustration            I have this class with the same teacher I had Drawing and persepective and I go an A in that class.  So hopefully he'll give me another A! :) The only thing that sucks is that this is a drawing class which means.... alot of work. ew. oh well. 4:00-6:30  Media Literacy            I have nothing to say about this.. sounds boring. then I have no classes on tuesdays Wednesdays - Not too bad 10:30-11:30 Physical Science in Visual Technology             Its only an hour long. 12:30-3:30  Art History             Sounds boring... but oh well :) Then I have Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off! :) That gives my 5 days to work and have a fun summer. aw my cat is laying next to me. So cute.  She lays on my desk when I'm on the computer and she falls asleep under chris's lamp.  She's getting so big! Tonight I have work at 5. I want to go back to cumberland tonight.  I'd have to bring my bag with my to work and hopefully get out by 11 so I can catch the 11:15 train at Back Bay station. If not then I'll have to take a 11:13 train home tomorrow and I don't want to do that because it's easter and I don't want have to rush and if I miss the train I'll miss easter brunch! ... [08 Apr 2009|03:42am] I got alot done today (GOOD THING)... and I ate alot of food (BAD THING). my day -... woke up at 12 +... showered -... sat on facebook -... made a huge bowl of pasta +... walked to otto to J.P licks -... got coffe ice cream +... walked back! -... ate another bowl of pasta +... made a list of everything I had to get done -... went to Penas and spent 11 dollars on milk, paper towels, 3 packs of ramen, and chocolate chip cookie mix +... Watched the documentary Born into Brothels and answered questions for my Humanites through the Arts class +... made chocolate chip cookies +... Watched the documentary Amandla! -... took a cookie break and ate two of them with a big glass of milk +... watched the rest of the movie and wrote a 2 page essay on it -... made a bowl of ramen. I added peprika and garlic salt.. it was so yummy but still a - +... worked on my drawings.. got 9 pretty much done -... ate another cookie +... shadded in my drawings and wrote a 2 page essay on them for my Humanities class okay so ten positives and.... nine negatives. I feel so fucking fat. hahaha. But seroiusly not funny. I don't want ot gain back the 25 pounds I lost! It's almost 4. I have my class at 9. I don't know if I should goto sleep or just stay up. If I goto sleep I can get like 3 hours of sleep, wake up at 7, get ready, get dunkin, and be ontime for class. But in reality I know I'll just hit snooze a million times and be 15 minutes late. OR I can pull an all nighter, work on my drawings some more trying to improve them and then feel real shitty tomorrow. It's a hard choice. EIther way I'll feel shitty tomorrow. But I have so much to do tomorrow. Class at 9 till 11:50. Then another class from 12:30 till 3:20 then I have to register for classes. I NEED TO DO THAT. fuck it, I'm going to bed. Get Your FREAK on

[07 Apr 2009|01:34pm] I friggin love Barefoot Contessa. Definately my favorite Food Network show.. well she's tied with Good Eats... Alton Brown (AKA Mr. Nipps) is the man. mm I love hot coffee. Chris made some before he left to go back to class. He's been so nice to me the past 3 days. I love him :) Ugh I'm dreading tomorrow. I have 6 drawings almost done. It's not relaly the Advanced Drawing class that I'm dreading though... because I know that if I just get them done I will get a good grade. It's my Humanities through the arts class that I'm dreading. I don't want to present my own work. I'm not proud of it and I'm going to be so embaressed. There are kids in that class that have so much more talent than me that will probably present things that are so much better and more creative then a few drawings of kitchen related items. Like the last time we presented this one kid played this crazy piece on a flute for the class. HA. yeah this is what I'm presenting with. I know other kids are going to show videos they've made and photos they've taken and there are a few grafitti artists in my class that will probably talk about their sick skills and their artwork and has all this meaning behind it and blah blah blah.. I'm just going to go up in front of the room, lay out my artwork and be like "aaaaaaa ummmmmmmm i drew these... I decided to draw picture of inside a kitchen because I like to cook... ummm.... duhh..... ummm..... I drew them in pencil.... i like to draw " AKA sound like a total retard hahah. My class already thinks I'm retarded because of last class. We had to find an article on art in the community. SO I picked an article about the Providence Rotary Art Fesival. Thats the one that goes on at the Bank of America skating center in providence and everyone gets a square on the ice rink (it doesnt have ice in it int he summer though so it's just cement squares) and draw on it and the money that's donated goes to youth and comunity charities. We all went in a circle to talk about our article and the first kid went and he was sititng right next to me. He did good, explained everything clearly and stuff. Then I went. I sounded liek a retard. I don't know why but I just freaked out.. like stage fright. The fact that everyone was looking at me and I was dressed in gross clothes and my hair was all gross and I was still wearing yesterdays makeup (this is a 9am class that I always roll out of bed and rush to an usually am 15 minuts late) .. just freaked me out. I was like "umm i did mine on the Providence Rotary Ary Festival.. It takes place in Providence at the Bank of America Skating center.. everyone draws on the ice rink.. well its melted.. theres no ice because its summer.. and um yeah.. that's pretty much all I can say about it" Thats all I said. I sounded like a moron. my teacher was like "UM you need to be a little more clear.. that just pretty much told me nothing about your article" so I responded with "oh, yeah, i'm sorry, you're right.... well I chose it because I used to live near Providence and all the money from the event goes to charities and umm.... I like the idea of this art festival because it bring the comunity together.. and um..... yeah.... " then I just looked over to the kid next to me kind of hinting him 'just start talking about yours so I can end this torchur. ' (I didn't say that) Then he went on for like a good ten minutes about his artcle and how amzing it in and the class ooo'd and awww'd . And the rest of the class went and everyone else did a good job. SO yeah... my class probably thinks I'm a retard. HAHA Tomorrow is not going to help.. I guess I shouldn't really care what they think of me. But its embaressing. Get Your FREAK on

I am 2 miles away from my apartment at school and I have no money to take the train and n umbrella... looks like I'm going to have a soaking wet walk home. I have so much to do today and tomorrow. I have to draw at least 3 drawings tonight for my portfolio. It's due Wednesday morning and I only have one picture out of 12 complete. They take me hours to do too. And I not only have to present it in my Advanced Drawing class but my Humanities through the Arts class before it because for our final project we need to present some of our own creative pieces... and I don't really do anything creative. So I guess I'll just show them my portfolio that's half ass-ed. It's going to be so embaressing. I have to talk about it to the class and I know it's not going to turn out good and It's not going to be anything I"m proud of or want my whole class to judge me on. Oh well... there's really nothing else I can do.. except hope that other peoples projects are WAY worse than mine (haha I'm horrible). Anywho yesterday it was so nice out! I went with Chris Alex and Dave to the Charles River before I went to work. Then when I got to work we had the outdoor patio set up and I had to be the hostess outside. I was kind of mad because I looked like shit haha. It was so easy though. And it was super nice out. I wanted to wear my sunglasses but they're cheep ones that i got for like 5 bucks in Newport and so I really didn't want to wear them on Newbury street. there were to many people out walking around wearing their 500 sunglasses haha. It got really cold though and so we shut the patio and went back inside. After work I sat at the bar with a few girls and we had a drink. My manager lets us drink at the bar.. it was great. Then we had to suck down our drinks real fast because there was a fire on the 3rd floor of the building Tapeo is in and the fire department was on their way. We all watched from across the street.. there were like 5 fire trucks and an ambulence.. no fire.. just smoke.. it was disappointing. haha Ugh I still need to register for classes! I feel so overwhelmed. I need something to motivate me. It's the end of the semester and I have so much due and I just can't bring myself to side down and do it. This rainy weather isn't really helping.. I just want to nap and watch a movie. Atleast it's not nice out... then I really would get nothing done. well I'm hungry and there's steak waiting at home for me to cook. Later suckasssssssss Get Your FREAK on

[04 Apr 2009|02:54pm] Soooooooooo It's Saturday, April 5th. I'm sitting in my living room, which is nicely re-arranged by Chris and Otto. They're cooling salmon with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies in the kitchen while listening to Billy Joel haha. I have to do laundry. I haven't washed any of my jeans in a while haha. But in order to do laundry I have to gotot he bank and cash my check then go to symphany market and get quarters then walk back home and put the laundry in... that's a lot of work for a lazy person like me. Ew the apartment smells like fish. I hate fish. Tonight I might go see Jimmy Eat World and Guster at Northeastern. I don't really listen to either of them but everyone else is going and the tickets are like 5 bucks. I hope someone picked up an extra ticket I can snag. If not i'll just be the loser sitting at home on a saturday night watching the Food Network waiting for everyone to get back. ha. I'm watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition. What a tear jerker haha. Chris and I love this show. we're so lame :) My cat is so cute. Holy shit hahah. She's sitting like a chicken right now. I'm going to go eat some mashed potatoes... later hoes. Get Your FREAK on
